There was no rainfall in Sydney for 60 days. This was one of the driest winter down under! Once it started raining we automatically got into the car to search for frogs. Originally we wanted to do Parkes which is around 5 hours driving from Sydney. It’s a home of one of the most beautiful frog that has amazing coloured skin. However, we didn’t make it on that day and stayed just an hour from Sydney. It’s quite interesting that here in Oz, you do not count distance in kilometres but in hours! The meaning of distance is completely different as in Europe. We were able to drive even 6000km per night in the past just to spot any kind of frog we chosen! Well, once you love something to do you’ll travel anywhere.
